Dancing With the Stars thankfully ends without inducing foot conditions

Actor J.R. Martinez won the latest season of Dancing With the Stars.

Dancing With the Stars thankfully ends without inducing foot conditions Season 13 of Dancing With the Stars began with stories of bunions and speculations of who will have the worst cha-cha. It seems like that was just yesterday, but the season is now done and over with, and actor J.R. Martinez has been named reigning champion of the competition.

Martinez and his partner Karina Smirnoff beat out talk show host Ricki Lake and reality television star Rob Kardashian during the final three.

"For one of you, that was your victory dance, but I think both of you are winners," judge Carrie Ann Inaba said to Kardashian and Martinez during the finale. "That was a great way to end this season."

Indeed. Everyone can be thankful that there were no casualties, especially considering that Carson Kressley was complaining of his bunions before the show even began.

Dancers who find themselves with bunions should consider conservative methods of correction, such as bunion splints or orthotics, before resorting to bunion surgery.
