Beyonce is still pregnant, may develop bunions
The reigning queen of pop music was spotted on New Year's Eve wearing obscenely high heels.
People Magazine recently reported that singer Beyonce and her rapper husband Jay-Z were out on the town the evening of Jan. 31, dining on fried delicacies before heading to Solange Knowles' New Year's Eve bash.
All looked well and peaceful with the couple, onlookers reported. However, below Beyonce's ankles lurked a hidden danger: towering shoes.
The 30-year-old singer apparently wore high heels fit for the runway that evening.
"She looked amazing. She wore sky-high heels. It was really impressive for an enormously pregnant woman," a source told People.
Beyonce rarely looks less than flawless, so the news of her fabulous pregnancy wardrobe is no surprise. However, WhatToExpect.com reports that pregnant women have a hormone in their blood that can make muscles, joints and ligaments more relaxed than usual. Add this factor to extra weight and high heels, and you have a recipe for bunions.
As a result, Beyonce and other fashionable preggos may want to consider using bunion splints or orthotics during and after their nine months of pregnancy in order to prevent or correct bony foot deformities.
